Amirkabir Khazar Steel Complex in Rasht Industrial city was established in 2003 with the aim of achieving a customer-oriented, influential, reputable and leading organization in the country’s steel industry. It covers an area of 14-hectare. The complex, with a production capacity of 750 thousand tons of steel rebar in 3 lines, began its operation in 2006 with employing 400 people directly. Amirkabir Khazar Steel Co. has emerged as one of the largest manufacturers of industrial and construction rebars in sizes 8 to 40 with different grades according to Iranian National Standard No. 3132 and international DIN, ASTM, GHOST and TS standards.

Now, it is possible to produce 500 grade weld-able rebar with desirable mechanical properties with this technological advancement in the rolling technology and development of automated production lines in terms of temperature control and cooling rate and the existence of thermex system
